Oh, what a busy day yesterday, 17th September, 2024. I went to Cirencester to give a talk at CHURN, The Churn Project is a community-based organization in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, supporting individuals who are lonely, experiencing transition or crisis, or struggling with mental health issues. Established in 2001, the project aims to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing. I took 16 Happy Handbags for them to distribute and they have offered to be a collection point for us too! Plus I popped into their knitting circle club there and suggested that they might like to know some scarves for Happy Handbag. Such a lovely location and group setting.
Then to Second Chance, a second hand shop in Cirencester with a difference. They are an independent concerns not governed by the restrictions of most charity shops. Their pricing is amazing! They have offered to promote Happy Handbag and act as a collection point for us too!
What a beautiful place Cirencester is….
